02 Jan Go for Launch Week
The books arrived! I threw a lot of confetti around. Then, I carried boxes to the basement, and carried on with life: i.e. Christmas and New Years. The last of our company left today, and I’ve got de-Christmas stuff to do.
SO. This coming Monday through Friday will be Go for Launch Week. Eric and I will get together. We’ll finish up Woo Commerce and then put the book up for sale.
Most frequently asked question: Where can I buy your book?
Answer: You can buy the book at one of four places.

2nd most asked question: Does it matter where I buy it from?
Well, if you love small presses, buy directly. They will make more money. If you want to support authors, buy directly from them if you can. Want to come to an event? Great. Come and enjoy. It just depends what you want. In the long run, there’s no right or wrong, it’s just money. Here are my stats, approximately:
Buy from my website: I earn $5 after packaging and shipping.
Buy from Autumn House Press, I earn about $1
Buy at an event: I earn $5 after paying for coffee and fun food.
Buy at Amazon: I earn 21 cents per book.

Moorhead Library Reading: Thursday March 5th, 6:30 p.m.
Minneapolis Book Signing: at the AWP Event, Friday April 10th.
Pittsburgh, Creative Nonfiction Conference and Autumn House Press readings, May 22 -24.
In the meantime, we’ve got some extra confetti floating around. Maybe I’ll save it up for next New Year’s Eve. I wonder what we’ll be celebrating by then?
